We’re all about budget friendly home decor finds! It’s one of the top requests we get when either working with clients, or in our messages. We understand you want your home to look beautiful, pulled together, and still have an elevated style.
Today we are going to do a round up of some of our favorite items to shop at Kirkland’s–there are SO many items, so this week we are scratching the surface with a few lamps, mirrors, and wall decor! It’s one of the many stores we routinely check for great deals on decor items! While they have a great in store selection, that also have so many online items they don’t feature in their brick and mortar stores. Follow along below to see some of our favorites from previous designs, as well as items we are currently eyeing!
Budget Friendly Table Lamps
It’s no secret that layered lighting has a special place in our heart, and in all of our designs. Lighting doesn’t have to break the bank, and Kirkland’s is one place you can source affordable and aesthetically pleasing floor and table lamps.
WOOD BASE LAMPS
The Woodgrain Laney floor lamp is definitely a statement piece. The chunky, wood base is swoon worthy and the price is more than reasonable for a floor lamp.
TAPERED CRYSTAL COLUMN LAMP
While Kirkland’s may conjure up farmhouse feelings and rustic vibes, we’ve also scored some elegant and glam pieces as well! These Tapered Crystal Column Table Lamps were incorporated into this transitional, elegant master bedroom. Farmhouse? Definitely not.
SILVER MERCURY GLASS LAMPS
Another favorite are these textured silver mercury glass lamps, which are on sale right now. We love how versatile and timeless these are.
Budget Friendly Mirrors
ARCHED STATEMENT MIRROR
Mirrors are such a great wall decor option for almost ANY space. They immediately brighten and lighten by reflecting both artificial and natural light. Additionally, they add an instant coziness factor to a space. Finding unique and affordable mirrors can be a challenge. That’s why we love Kirkland’s vast and varied selection.
These statement arched mirrors stole the show in this lower level makeover we did at the end of 2019. These were purchased during a black friday sale for a STEAL. They unfortunately sold out very quickly, but the smaller size is still available here, which we used in a basement update above a high top table.
SILVER LUXE MIRROR
Another of our budget friendly decor finds is this gorgeous understated Silver Luxe mirror. As versatile as it is elegant, it’s a great addition and comes in multiple sizes. The smaller sizes would make excellent vanity mirrors in bathrooms. See how we used it in this dining room. Positioning it so that it reflects the gorgeous statement chandelier as well as the light it emmeniates, helps create ambiance as well as giving the illusion of a larger space.
ROUND FAUX LEATHER STRAP MIRROR
These round mirrors with a faux leather strap were a great way to fill a large entry wall. An added bonus, this gorgeous eucalyptus is also from Kirkland’s, although I haven’t been able to find it in their online store. Everytime I find it in the store, I purchase it all!
Budget Friendly Wall Decor
There are so many options for unique wall decor from Kirkland’s to choose from. We have sourced wall sconces, architectural pieces, and art all from the online site.
WOOD WALL PLAQUES
These natural and white geometric wood wall plaques were a statement wall decor piece for this large wall in a recent design.
SCONCES
We also sourced these unique rustic metal curved wall sconces as well for this entry. Unfortunately, these are currently out of stock, but check out this metal and glass alternative that we also love!
HEIRLOOM QUILT WALL PLAQUE
This Navy Quilt Pattern Wood Wall Plaque was a perfect addition to this nursery we completed earlier this year.
Endless online options
Because we work with a range of clients, including e-design for clients outside of our typical service area, sourcing items online has become a pretty standard business practice for us.
